Overview
NiNi ("the app") is a baby monitor application developed by Pyepye Digital. It connects two Android devices over the same Wi-Fi network to enable real-time audio streaming.
This privacy policy explains what data NiNi accesses, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Data Collection
Audio data: The app captures audio via the microphone and streams it only to the other device on the same local Wi-Fi network. Audio data is:
- Never sent to any server or cloud service
- Never recorded or stored on the device
- Automatically discarded when the connection ends
- Confined entirely to your local network (LAN)
Gallery access: The app may request access to your device's photos in order to set a baby profile picture. The selected photo is:
- Stored locally on your device only
- Never uploaded or transmitted externally
Analytics and crash reporting: To improve app quality, we use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC). These services may collect the following anonymous data:
- App crash and error reports
- Device model and Android version
- App version and session duration
- General region (not city-level)
App Permissions
NiNi requires the following Android permissions to function:

Data Sharing
NiNi does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties. No data is transferred to external parties beyond the Firebase services described above.
Audio is streamed directly between the two devices over your local Wi-Fi network. Pyepye Digital's servers are never involved in this transmission.
Children's Privacy
NiNi is designed to be used by parents and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us using the information below and we will delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app store listing or within the app itself.
The latest version of this policy will always be available on this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
